I think I must have a thing for old dressers...I like usin' 'em for storage...I have one in my family room, back hallway and in my workroom....of course there's one in the bedrooms and the husband has an xtra one in his closet....but, I LOVE usin' old dressers for stuff other than clothes...the one in my family room and back hallway are full of Xmas tree decorations....the one in my workroom has wrappin' paper and my paints in it...
And of course the fun part about havin' dressers displayed in other parts of the house besides the bedrooms, is that it gives me another surface to decorate!!!! If ya've been readin' this blog for awhile, ya know I've been revampin' my family room....I have very few things on the walls in there...cuz I can't quite decide what I want yet....everything from there went downstairs to my workroom....
I did leave a dresser in my family room and finally displayed some goodies atop it....
I'll probably rearrange and change my mind a gazillion times, but for now here's how it looks...

Very simple....but, I'm likin' it...(I think)....I need to pull blue into the accents of the room, cuz I didn't want to have to repaint all the woodwork....so I used the old blue tin oil lamp and the old composition doll with her original blue dress...I have no idea who the lady is in the framed photo, but love her....she creeps out the husband.....I have tons of old framed photos like that displayed in an xtra bedroom...if it was just me livin' here I'd move 'em all upstairs to enjoy...the husband says there's definitely somethun wrong with me...
No doubt there is.....
